About our Music Program
Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the first time or a serious student ready to go further, LyriCo Conservatory offers the instruction, the faculty, and the environment to make it happen.
We offer private lessons and group classes across more programs than any other performing arts school in Gainesville. All under one roof. All held to a conservatory standard.
Every Program. One Conservatory.
-
VOICE: Voice is our flagship program and the heart of everything we do. LyriCo was founded by professional opera singers, and that standard runs through every voice lesson we teach. Private lessons available in 30, 45, and 60 minute sessions for students of all ages. -
PIANO: Piano instruction at LyriCo builds real musicianship from the very first lesson. Our faculty work with beginners and advanced students alike, with a clear progression path and regular performance opportunities throughout the year. -
GUITAR: From acoustic to electric, our guitar program meets students where they are and builds toward real performance skills. Private lessons available for all ages and experience levels. -
DRUMS: Our drum program is built for students who want more than just rhythm. They want technique, timing, and the ability to play with other musicians. Private lessons and group classes available. -
STRINGS: Violin, viola, and cello instruction with a high standard and a long-term approach. String students at LyriCo tend to stay for years because the instruction is serious and the results are real. -
WOODWIND AND BRASS: Flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and more. Whether your student is preparing for a school band or pursuing private study, our woodwind and brass faculty bring professional experience to every lesson. -
DANCE: At LyriCo, dance is part of the same artistic foundation as every other discipline we teach. Movement, rhythm, and performance are inseparable from music, and our dance program reflects that. Classes for all ages and experience levels, taught by faculty with decades of professional experience.
Why Gainesville Chooses
LyriCo
NOT YOUR AVERAGE MUSIC SCHOOL LyriCo is Gainesville’s conservatory for the performing arts. We are not a neighborhood music school. Our founders are professional opera singers who built LyriCo to bring a level of instruction to Gainesville that most families have to leave the city to find.
LIVE PERFORMANCE INCLUDED Every LyriCo student performs. Live showcases throughout the year give students real stage experience. Not just lessons, but the moment those lessons are for.
FIRST THREE METHOD BOOKS INCLUDED Every new student receives their first three method books at no additional cost. You show up and we handle the rest.
INSTRUCTION THAT HOLDS A STANDARD Our faculty are held to a high professional standard across every program. Students do not just learn. They progress, they perform, and they grow.
ONE SCHOOL, EVERY DISCIPLINE Voice, piano, guitar, drums, bass, strings, woodwind, brass, acting, and dance. All in one building. All at the same standard.
